Environmental Management Plans (EMP’s) are a tool for protecting environmental assets and values. They provide a framework for guiding operational activities and meeting compliance requirements. EMP’s are often targeted to particular activities (e.g. construction), locations (e.g. sensitive areas) and environmental factors (e.g. air quality, fauna, flora, groundwater, noise, surface water).
